I have an idea son, why don’t we drive to the nearest cliff and see if the law of gravity applies to you.

100% in agreement, for the people that really need help they can take pride in earning, and no more free ride for people like this.

There’s a fine line but something like this could potentially work.

….then it’s not welfare anymore. It’s a fucking job.

So basically these conservatives who hate “Big Government” want to bring back Roosevelt’s (who they hate) Civilian Conservation Corps (which was a public work program and probably one of the few truly socialistic programs in American history) and was apart of the New Deal (which they doubly hate).

I love the phrase “take pride in earning”.  Yes, because there exist a large group of people out there who, say, want to work at Walmart and are damn proud of their minimum wage jobs in a corporate environment which actively punishes employees who try to unionize so that the Walton’s can afford a 75th mansion.

If you want people to take pride in their work, give them work to be proud of, not work done to enrich the meager few at the top of the economic pyramid.

"If you want people to take pride in their work, GIVE THEM work to be proud of."

It’s telling you don’t condemn the lady and what’s even more telling is your statement.

Good day and god bless.

What lady?  The one in the video?

And please, what is telling about my exhortation?  It was about calling those who want their workers to toil for peanuts while they themselves take the rewards.  That’s not leadership, and it is certainly not moral.

I have a very happy loving life, filled with wonderful loving family and friends.

I have a roof over my head, food in my stomach and cloths on my back.

It seems you think really successful people owes you something, I don’t.

Tell me what rich people do to you that holds you down?

If you want more money, then acquire a skill that demands more money

I think we’re far apart on responsibility, we’re going to have to agree to disagree.
Good night and God bless.
